CONCERTS & REVUES

We love new writing. Whether it's creating it ourselves, supporting and promoting the work of others or just seeking out what's new, we're passionate about it.

Below are some of what we've been involved with. Hover over them to find out

Ignite - Women in the Arts - Burn Bright Theatre

To coincide with International Women's Day, Burn Bright Theatre hosted a night of female talent from comedy to poetry to live music. Artistic Director Laura Kaye Thomson performed work from our most recent R&D as well as a re-imagined version of His Majesty's Men from Music Box musical Poppies.

Cue the Music - Cue Productions - Park Theatre

Cue Productions hosts a variety of different nights at the Park Theatre and we were delighted to be asked to join the line-up in their evening of new musical theatre: Cue the Music!

It was great to share the stage with fellow Stiles and Drewe finalist Darren Clarke and also fellow Made in LDN composer Dominic Powell.

Made in LDN - Interval Productions - Cockpit Theatre

Curated by Tori Allen-Martin of Interval Productions, Made in LDN was an ACE funded season of new Musical Theatre writing which premiered new works by London based writers. With Poppies in development for its second run in London, we showcased some of the new songs in the show as well as some which had featured in the first production at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Musical Theatre Tuesdays - Theatre Royal Stratford East

We were delighted to be asked by Theatre Royal Stratford East to produce an evening of the best new musical theatre the industry has to offer.

The night featured music from writers Finn Anderson, Tim Connor, Frost & Hough, Kate Marlais & Alex Young, Scott Morgan and Eamonn O'Dwyer and performances from Mountview graduates Christopher Davidson and Leah Pinney and RWCMD graduate Jay Worley.

Stiles & Drewe Best New Song Prize - Garrick Theatre

The STILES & DREWE PRIZE is an unprecedented programme for the development and showcasing of British Musical Theatre Writers. The Best New Song prize recognises an outstanding song from a new musical, offered in conjunction with the Stephen Sondheim Society Student Performer of the Year Award.

We were thrilled to be a finalist in the competition and have Love Me from our musical Poppies performed at the Garrick Theatre by Leah West. Hosted by Michael Xavier with a special guest performance from Elaine Paige, we also received a special mention from George Stiles! Read more HERE.
